New China-Pakistan cooperation progression, Punjab Province Pakistan signing a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with Hygea Medical

Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab Province which has the largest population and strongest economy in Pakistan, was present at Hygea Medical for business survey on December 9, 2024, with more than 20 representatives from Pakistan Embassy in China and Punjab government representatives including Department of Information, Department of Industry and Department of Finance as well as bank industry. Lin Tao, Deputy Director General of International Department I, Central Committee of CPC, also attended this activity.

During the meeting, Luo Fuliang, president of Hygea first extended a warm welcome to Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the delegation representatives. President Luo expressed that Hygea is committed to leveraging advanced minimally invasive tumor treatment technologies and solutions in collaboration with the Punjab Provincial Government to enhance healthcare standards in Pakistan and create a new blueprint for public health. Hygea acknowledged the remarkable achievements made under Minister Sharif's leadership, in particular the establishment of the 1,000-bed Nawaz Sharif Cancer Treatment and Research Center in Lahore, which represents the great accomplishments of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. This initiative fully stands for the unwavering determination of the Punjab government to improve the health care of the people of Punjab, aligning closely with the mission of Hygea Medical.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif said at the meeting that China's remarkable progress in the field of science and technology has one of great concerns. As a representative enterprise of China's medical technology industry, Hygea Medical has contributed to the global medical development of its minimally invasive tumor treatment technology. In particular, the excellent innovation and technical characteristics of Co-Ablation System® exert aspiring significance and potential in improving the medical service quality.
